This week at Reservoir Primary School, we are participating in Neurodiversity Week 🎉✨🧠

This is an important opportunity for our school community to recognise and celebrate the many different ways people think, learn and experience the world.

Neurodiversity is the idea that differences in how our brains work are a natural and valuable part of human diversity. Many people identify as neurodivergent, including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences. Recognising neurodiversity helps us build a community where everyone feels respected, understood and included.

Throughout the week, students will participate in learning experiences that focus on understanding that all brains work in different ways. These lessons will encourage students to develop empathy, celebrate strengths, and appreciate that our differences make our school community stronger.

At Reservoir Primary School, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where every student feels safe, supported and valued. Learning about neurodiversity helps students understand themselves and others, and reinforces the importance of kindness, respect and belonging.

We look forward to sharing this learning with students and continuing to build a school culture that celebrates diversity in all its forms.

Join us for the annual Reservoir Primary School Community Night!

Time: 5-7pm

Pack a picnic and relax on the school oval while enjoying a fantastic evening with school friends, families and staff. There'll also be an ice cream truck, face painting and lawn games to keep everyone entertained.

It is always a great chance to connect, unwind and celebrate our wonderful school community - we look forward to seeing you there!

🎄🎶🎅 Christmas Carols at Assembly - this Friday!

Our wonderful Music Ensemble will be performing Christmas Carols at assembly this Friday 12 December, and we’d love to hear the whole school singing along!

Parents and carers are warmly invited to attend.

To help spread the festive cheer, feel free to wear your favourite Christmas accessories and join in the spirit of the season!🎄🎶🎅

We hope to see you there with (jingle) bells on!

This Remembrance Day, Reservoir Primary School wishes to honour all who have lost their lives in service, including in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.

In tribute to them, and in support of their loved ones, students and staff will be wearing poppies and observing a minute of silence at 11am.

Get ready for a night of music, dance & fun with our amazing students! 💃🕺 Every class will perform a choreographed dance, and the show will be hosted by our Young Leaders.
