MATS been working in partnership with the Victorian Music Teachers’ Association (VMTA) to help launch their mentoring program! This is a new FREE program that will connect novice and early career teachers to mentors. It will be a valuable opportunity for anyone interested in teaching to speak with an experienced teacher and understand what goes into being an independent music teacher, both in admin and practical teaching.

Applications for this mentoring program close on the 24th of November, so make sure you sign up before then!

Our Gender Diversity In Jazz workshop series continues!

These workshops are a safe space for female identifying, non-binary and gender diverse music students to connect and build industry connections! ♀️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️⚧️

Led by the indomitable Michelle Nicolle, this upcoming workshop will take you through the practicalities of leading and rehearsing a band.
