CRAM 2026 β Day 2! π¬
We moved into the cadaveric lab at the Department of Anatomy, University of Ruhuna, where delegates practised ultrasound-guided needling on freshly thawed frozen cadavers β fascia iliaca, erector spinae and serratus anterior, brachial plexus, PENG, stellate ganglion, popliteal sciatic, ankle and occipital blocks β with faculty guiding every step.
A day like this is only possible thanks to the generosity of Professor Samarawickrama and the Department of Anatomy at the University of Ruhuna. Professor Samarawickrama worked tirelessly to have the freshly thawed frozen cadavers that worked so well for sonoanatomy and Needle guidance. Thank you to Department of Anatomy staff who kept the dissection hall odour free, spotlessly clean !! And to our faculty at every station who tirelessly delivered-Drs Prasidini Karunaratne,Thiloca Perera,Hosim Thapa, Sathi Seevanayaham,Akilan Velayudha and Charith De Silva. π
