The unique way in which our centre delivers personalised care and education ensures that your child’s emotional, cultural, physical, social and intellectual abilities are nurtured whilst developing a sound foundation for their continuous learning. Journey Early Learning Centre Alphington is a purpose built and privately owned early learning centre catering for 45 children. The centre offers high q

uality care and education for children aged from 6 months to pre-school age. Our centre provides a safe, stimulating and fun environment, recognising the individual needs of each child’s gender and background without bias. Our aim is to provide services that are responsive to the changing needs of families and children attending the centre. Our team are passionate educators who pride themselves in providing high quality care and education to children in their early childhood years. Specifically in the music and movement area, some of the programs we had integrated were: Hey Dee Ho, Mini Maestro and Kinder Dance. We also include in our program incursions such as Chicken Hatching, Rabbit Rearing, Animals Farm and Reptiles in Action to further children knowledge and hands on experiences. We offer a kindergarten program for 3 year old children and a funded kindergarten program for 4 year olds which is run by qualified Kindergarten teachers. Each year, our service implements a host of events that cover multicultural celebrations, Australian history and the Aboriginal culture.

Last week, the Kinder children turned the sandpit into a dinosaur dig site! Using brushes, trowels and lots of imagination, they worked together to uncover “fossils” buried beneath the sand.

Inspiring happy children

Journey Alphington is a warm and homely early learning centre that inspires adventure and joy. The centre is designed around your little explorer and play-based learning. That means getting messy, digging in the dirt and playing in amongst the gardens. Our play spaces inspire children to work together with their friends to conquer milestones with confidence. We encourage our children to test their boundaries, while helping them to achieve different outcomes.
