BlendED National is seeking a Senior Administration Officer and an ICT Services Engineer to join our growing NSW team in Wollongong.

The Senior Administration Officer will deliver high level administrative support across the state, overseeing daily processes and helping our school services run efficiently.

The ICT Services Engineer will support our ICT infrastructure, systems and end user services across all NSW sites, keeping everything secure, reliable and running smoothly.

School can't. Not school won't.

For some young people, getting to school just isn't possible right now. It's not about attitude, it's about finding the right conditions for them to thrive again.

At BlendED, we don't see this as a problem to fix or punish. It's about meeting young people where they're at, and providing them with the support they need in an environment designed to work with who they are, not against it. 💜

The Waterford program is our small, fully in-person program for twice-exceptional young people, capable, but also navigating learning differences, anxiety, or disability.

Classes are capped to be small, so they get full support and nothing about them gets missed. There's time built in to chase what actually drives them, so they can explore their passions and strengths.

2026 and 2027 places are still available in both Queensland and Tasmania.

On Monday 27 July, Australia will run its first ever national Emergency Alert test. It's just a test, not a real emergency. At 2pm AEST, phones across the country will vibrate and play a loud siren tone for about 10 seconds.

Everyone is safe, and there's nothing you need to do. But we know a sudden loud noise can be a lot for some of some young people, especially if it catches them off guard.

A few things that might help:
🔕 Give them a heads up before 2pm, so it's not a surprise
🎧 Headphones, a quiet space, or switching the phone off (and back on after) can all take the edge off
🤝 If you're with them when it happens, staying close and counting the 10 seconds together can help it feel less overwhelming

We're proud to see BlendED's story reaching a national education audience, featured in EducationHQ in May.

"We often get comments like 'my child has made a friend for the first time in five years'," our CEO Chloe Hand shared in the article.

That's the kind of quiet, powerful shift happening for young people who want to learn but haven't been able to thrive in a traditional classroom. The feature captures what that pathway back looks like in practice, teacher led online learning, regular face to face gatherings, and Wellbeing Workers who show up for the whole young person, not just their attendance record.

With our Tasmania and Queensland hubs now open and NSW applications already underway, this is just the beginning. 🙌

We're looking for: Casual Relief Teacher, Queensland (1-2 month contract)

BlendED National is looking for a Casual Relief Teacher to join our Queensland team, starting Monday. Due to strong demand for our program, we need extra teaching support to keep up with growing enrolments.

👉 4 days a week
👉 1-2 month contract
👉 Starting Monday
