Thank you for taking the time to look at Kait’s Family Day Care, for your child care needs. This means that the number of children enrolled with me is limited. By staying small I can then provide a quality care and nurturing atmosphere that your child deserves, which makes my family day care a premium service. My family consists of myself (Kait) and my son Lucas. We’re very lucky to have the suppo

rt of my parents, who live next door. We live in a small quite street that’s a tight net little community in itself. My business philosophy is based upon integrity, honest and open communication. I like to think that I take this into every part of my life. Here at Kait’s Family Day Care I ask that you provide lunch and snacks for your child as you know what they will eat and can cater to what you feel will be best for them. I do request that you keep special treats to special occasions. As an Educator in Family Day Care, my goal is to provide a safe and happy learning environment for each child that will stimulate their physical, intellectual, social and emotional growth at their own pace. I aim to offer educational play based learning. I provide loving care that focuses on each child as a unique and wonderful individual by doing this I believe it builds self-esteem and respect for others. As your partner in caring for your child, my interaction with you, the parent(s), is as important as my interactions with your child. Any extra information that you would be able to give me would help your child to transiting to Kait’s Family Day Care. This graphic from Big Life Journal offers some wonderful scripts to try when your child is upset. Our children need to know that their big feelings are not too big for us, their trusted big people. They can rest in the knowledge that our support and love is unwavering, and they have the space to work through the frustration/fear/anger/disappointment that is unsettling their developing brains. We can handle all that they have to throw at us, and we'll still be there once the dust has settled, arms wide and empathy abounding.❤️
