Celebrating Father’s Day at Goodstart Tarneit!
We had such a beautiful afternoon celebrating the wonderful dads, grandads and special people in our children’s lives!

Our families joined us for a special Father’s Day Afternoon Tea, sharing delicious treats and spending precious time together while enjoying fun experiences such as play dough, colouring, beading and many more craft activities.

Throughout the week, our children were also busy working alongside their educators to create special handmade gifts for their dads and loved ones, made with lots of little hands and even more love.

Thank you to all of our families who joined us and helped make the celebration so special. We loved seeing the smiles, laughter and beautiful moments shared together.

We celebrated the incredible educators who make Goodstart Tarneit such a special place for our children and families for Early Childhood Educators Day!
🩷💛🧡❤️

Every day, our educators bring kindness, patience, creativity and care into everything they do. They comfort, encourage, teach, laugh, listen and create meaningful moments that help our little learners feel safe, valued and ready to grow.

To make today extra special, our team were treated to some beautiful flowers and a little gift as a small token of appreciation. We also loved reading the heartfelt messages shared by our families, such a beautiful reminder of the difference our educators make each and every day.

To all our amazing educators, thank you for the love, dedication and heart you bring. We appreciate you more than words can say.

What a wonderful week celebrating Children’s Book Week – “Symphony of Stories.”

Our centre came alive with favourite stories, creative experiences, colourful displays and some very special character dress ups!

Book Week gave our children the opportunity to explore their imaginations, celebrate storytelling and continue building a love of books and reading.

A big thank you to our educators and families for helping make the week so much fun!

Ever had one of those "What should I be doing with my child?" moments? You might already have the answer at home.

Earlier this year, every Goodstart family received a What & When for Families guide for each child. If it's been tucked away in a drawer since then, now might be the perfect time to pull it back out.

The guide is packed with simple, play-based activities that support your child's learning and development at home. Best of all, it's written in your child's voice, with ideas tailored to their age and developmental stage.

From singing songs with babies and playing peek-a-boo, to "I Spy" games, storytelling and treasure hunts with older children, the activities are designed to fit naturally into everyday moments you already share together.

We know learning doesn't only happen in the classroom. Those small moments at home can help build big communication, language and literacy skills.

Last week our little scientists had so much fun celebrating Science Week through a range of exciting, hands-on experiments and discoveries!

From investigating sink or float, exploring fizzing colours and experimenting with magic milk, the children were encouraged to wonder, predict, observe and discover what happens when we mix, test and explore.

These experiences sparked so much curiosity, conversation and excitement as the children developed their problem-solving skills and explored early scientific concepts through play.

We loved seeing the amazement on their faces as they discovered that science really is all around us!

A wonderful week of curiosity, exploration and learning at Goodstart Tarneit! 🧪 🧬

Our Goodstart Tarneit community came together for very special Smoking Ceremony.

Our children and educators had the privilege of participating in this meaningful cultural experience, learning about the significance of a Smoking Ceremony and the important connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to Country, culture and community.

Through listening and participating our children were able to experience culture in a meaningful and respectful way, strengthening their understanding of indigenous perspectives and the importance of caring for and connecting with Country.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share this experience as a whole centre and for the knowledge, stories and culture that were so generously shared with us.
