A planner has a date, a budget and eleven tabs open. Anything that takes an extra email to find out is a reason to close yours.
Two things stall more enquiries than anything else: they can't tell if you're available, and they can't tell if you're affordable.
You don't have to publish an exact number to be clear. A range, a travel position and a note on what shifts the fee are enough for someone to decide whether to start the conversation. Vagueness doesn't protect your rate. It just moves you to the maybe pile, where nothing happens.
Keep your dates and your range current. It's the cheapest booking work you'll ever do.
