1) the 323 Block party held at Golden Monkey from 9pm-1am by . Hiphop, RNB, House, Afro Beats & more being played there.
2) We will be holding one last Session at the studio after the battle, ending late, to say fairwell to the studio.

As the beloved Bourke st studio is closing next month, we would like to invite everyone to come jam for one last time!! An exchange house jam will be hosted on the 25/Aug(Fri) 8pm-late (warm up jam from 7-8pm). It will be an 2v2 exchange session, where people paired up with a partner and go against other teams. No judging. Just exchange but there will be people’s choice prize. Every 3 rounds you have to find a new partner, so you get to dance with & against as many people as you can!! This is a great opportunity to meet people through dance, get comfortable with house music and get prepared for the upcoming house-licious events ;)
This is an open style jam with house music. Entry fee is donation based ($15, $20, $30 or more) and all profits goes to Dsoul as a thanks from the community to their generous supports to free studio session. Let’s give the studio a well-deserved farewell.

DSOUL Studios presents a Fundrasier 2v2 funkstyle battle, to help raise funds for the studio.

About the battle:
It will be a 2v2 battle, including the styles of Popping and Locking.
Your team can consist of 2 Lockers, 2 Poppers or a mixture (we encourage Poppers and Lockers to team up!).

The battle format:
It will go from Prelims to top8, to top 4 to finals. The prelims is in a special format, which you will see on the day.

Prize: $160 ($80 per teammate)

Entry: $30 per duo to battles, spectator $10

We have unfortunately decided to end our lease with Bourke St branch in September, as this is the best decision for our business financially. We appreciate all the support and memories you have given us over the years, and hope this doesn’t inconvenience any of you greatly.

All regular classes at the Bourke St location will be cancelled in end of August, and our classes will continue running in the branch at Elizabeth St. Do follow our Elizabeth St branch Instagram account () for upcoming updates on classes. This account will turn into a events page for DSoul, including upcoming battles and clips from FunkMusic Jam.

We will be having a 30% off discount for our Bourke St studios until the time of closure.
