Today we celebrated a very special milestone, 100 days of school for our Prep students!
The weather certainly tried to spoil our plans, but the wind and rain didn't stop us from having a fantastic day. Our Preps arrived dressed as some very convincing "100-year-olds" and spent the day counting, singing, dancing, creating, laughing and enjoying a few special treats along the way.
It was lovely to see the excitement on their faces as they celebrated just how far they've come since their very first day at St James. In just 100 days they have grown in confidence, made new friends and learned so much.
Well done, Preps! We are so proud of you and loved celebrating this special day together.

Well done to our students who last week competed in the Year 5 & 6 District Basketball Day. We saw great displays of sportsmanship, teamwork and skill. Congratulations to our Open/Mixed Team who won the day and will now go on to compete at Division Level.

On Friday, our school community came together for an incredibly heartwarming celebration. We began our day with a beautiful prayer service, reflecting on the immense love, wisdom, and guidance these special figures bring into our lives.

Afterwards, our classrooms were filled with smiles, laughter, and a bit of gentle chaos as our visitors joined the students for some wonderful classroom activities! From sharing stories to working on crafts, it was a joy to see generations learning and laughing together.

Thank you to all the grandparents and special friends who joined us. We are so grateful for the vital role you play in our students' lives! ❤️

Some of our Year 3-6 students competed at the District Cross Country on Monday. They all did a great job and should be proud of their efforts.
Congratulations to the 23 students who will now go on to run at the Division Cross Country event.
