Book Week is a favourite at Lili's and this year reminded us exactly why. 📚

Reading is part of every single day across all our rooms and watching our children connect with stories and characters they love is one of the most rewarding things we get to witness. When a child dresses as a character from a book they adore, something really wonderful is happening. That love of stories starts early and we are so proud to be part of building it.

We're open. Our stallholders have unpacked their cars, the yard is set up, and the coffee van is pouring from 10am.

The face painter is ready to go, our educators are running the children's activities, and we're doing tours of the centre on the half hour. Our team is out the front, so come and say hello.

What a week our Lili's community had for Book Week. 📚

Symphony of Stories brought out the very best in everyone and the way our families got involved made it so much more than just a dress up day. At Lili's early literacy and a love of reading run through everything we do and Book Week is our chance to celebrate that together in the most fun way possible.

Thank you to every family, every child and every educator who made Book Week 2026 at Lili's so incredibly special. We are already counting down to next year.

The real stars of Book Week at Lili's. 📚

Our children came dressed as their favourite characters and paraded through the centre with so much joy and confidence. The costumes, the excitement and the pure happiness on their faces made it one of those days we will talk about for a long time.

A huge thank you to every family who put in the effort to make their little one's costume so special. It really did make the week.

Our educators arrived to cookies, gift boxes and letters pinned up along the wall.

To the families who took the time to write something, thank you. One card called our educators the Very Important Persons of childhood. Another thanked them for smiling and welcoming children in at 7am on the coldest mornings.

Our educators have read every one of them, and they mean a great deal.

To our educators in the Nursery, Toddler, Pre-Kinder and Kinder rooms, thank you.

You settle a baby who has been crying since the car park. You remember which child won't eat anything green and which one needs the same story twice before sleep. You notice the small things, and the small things are what children carry with them.

Early Childhood Educators' Day is for you. 💛

Four sleeps until we open the gates.

The coffee van pours from 10am until 1pm, the stalls fill the yard, and our educators will be out there with the children's activities. We're a family-owned centre and this is the sort of morning we like putting on for our neighbourhood.

If you've been meaning to look at early learning for your little one, come and see us on Saturday instead of booking a tour. We're opening our rooms between 10am and 1pm, with tours every half hour. You'll meet the educators who'd be caring for your child, and you can take as long as you like. No appointment, no pressure.
