When someone is grieving, they don't need your explanation.

They need your presence.

Too often, we rush to fill the silence:
"Everything happens for a reason."
"At least they're in a better place."
"God needed another angel."

But grief isn't a problem to solve.

"Mourn with those who mourn." Romans 12:15

Notice Paul doesn't say, "Explain suffering to those who mourn."

He says, "Mourn with them."

Sometimes the most Christ-like thing you can do is sit in someone's pain, listen to their story, and remind them they are not alone.

Evangelism isn't a performance.

It's not about having all the right answers.

It's about walking with the Holy Spirit in ordinary conversations. Especially when someone is grieving.

"Do not worry about how you are to speak or what you are to say... for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you." Matthew 10:19-20

Sometimes all it takes is a gentle prompting:
Talk about hope.
Talk about eternity.
Talk about Jesus.

When we stop trying to impress people and start listening to the Holy Spirit, conversations can become moments of deep comfort and transformation.

“For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.” Proverbs 2:6
