There’s something magical about sensory play — and cloud dough is always a favourite in the three year old Kinder! ☁️✨

Soft, crumbly, and wonderfully calming, cloud dough invites little hands to scoop, pour, squish, and create while exploring different textures and sensations. It’s such a simple activity, but it encourages imagination, fine motor development, and mindful play all at once.

Today we added scoops, cups, and small toys to our cloud dough tray, and the kids spent ages building, digging, and pretending. The best part? There’s no “right” way to play — just open-ended exploration and fun.

If you’ve never tried cloud dough before, all you need is flour and oil to create this soft sensory experience at home. Easy to make, easy to enjoy, and always a hit with curious little learners. 💛

What are your favourite sensory play activities?

🦁🌿 Our Kindergarten children have been exploring the wonderful world of animals through a zoo-inspired learning experience based on Australia Zoo and the work of Steve Irwin.

Using maps, animal figurines, natural materials, and imaginative play, the children investigated animal habitats, conservation, and how we can care for our environment. 🐘🐅🗺️

This hands-on experience encouraged curiosity, collaboration, storytelling, and a deeper connection with the natural world. 💚

Today we celebrate the tiny pollinators that make a huge difference to our world. Bees help plants grow, support our food supply, and keep nature thriving. 💛

Our children have been learning about the importance of bees and how we can help protect them by planting flowers, caring for the environment, and appreciating the role they play in our ecosystem.
