One thing uni has taught us: be curious and just show up.

Uni is more than classes and assignments. Most of us joined VIVU without really knowing what to expect. A random event, a new face, a “why not?”, and somehow those little decisions turned into friendships, memories and days like this. 💛

Big thanks to VUSU for organising the snow trip and giving us another memory for the VIVU archive ❄️🫶

Moral of the story: join that club. Go to that event. You never know where you’ll end up 👀

👋 Meet Derrick – VIVU Secretary!

Hey everyone! I’m Derrick, an Osteopathy student at VU and your VIVU Secretary!

Outside of uni, I’m passionate about giving back and spend a lot of my time involved in charity and community work, from local projects around Melbourne to volunteering overseas. I love meeting new people, taking on new challenges and turning ideas into something meaningful.

As Secretary, I’ll be keeping things organised behind the scenes, supporting the team and making sure our ideas somehow make it out of the group chat and into reality 😂

When I’m not studying or volunteering, you’ll probably find me playing a variety of sports, grabbing a coffee or brunch, spending time with friends, or discovering another good place to eat.

I’m excited to bring that same energy to VIVU, meet plenty of new faces and help create some unforgettable memories together. If you see me around, come say hi! 🙌
