Matilda Junior opens at Fab Nobs Theatre in just 4 short weeks, and our cast and team are hard at work putting together a fantastic show! Coming June 19th - our 2026 Junior Open Mic! Featuring a sneak peak performance from some of our fabulous Matilda Junior cast members.

More details will be coming soon, but all youth performers and families should save the date to make sure you don’t miss out on a fun and supportive night of music!

For our adult performers, worry not, we do plan on having an open mic night for you all later on in the year, watch this space to see when that is announced.

Introducing our incredible cast of Matilda Junior! Please give this cast a big Fab Nobs welcome! With 27 young performers, this is our biggest ever youth cast, and we know this is going to an absolutely amazing production. Tickets will be on sale soon, so watch this space.

Just over a week ago Fun Home played its final show at Fab Nobs Theatre after an absolutely amazing season! We are so proud of all involved on putting together this rarely gem of a musical.

Thank you to everyone who was a part of this production, from our creative team, to our set builders, our sound and lighting teams, our stage managers, our band, our committee, and so many more. Shows like this are a true labour of love, and we are always so blessed to have so many amazing people helping put together shows at our company.

We would also like to give a massive congratulations to our cast, who worked together as an incredible team to put together this emotional piece of theatre every night. We know bonds have been formed here that will last a lifetime. We are so glad to have had every one of you, from those returning to the Fab Nobs stage to those who are first timers. We hope to have you all back very soon!

Earlier this week we hosted our Youth Musical Theatre Workshops at Fab Nobs, for the first time since 2022!

We were so excited to welcome over 50 young theatre kids over 2 days, and are proud of every single young performer for giving everything a go!

Thank you to our presenters; Amber Orchard, Emilie Hoyne, Anna Bearsley and Sally McKenzie for giving such useful information and running such amazing and fun sessions with all our performers. We are so grateful for all your time and effort!

We hope to continue running more workshops in the future, so watch our space and follow along to see when the next opportunities will open up.
