What are you doing today for your mental health?
We often ask, "How are you?" But a more useful question is: "What are you doing today for your mental health?"
Why this question matters: Mental health is not just about reacting when things feel off. It's built through small, consistent actions — taking a proper break, stepping away from a stressful situation, talking to someone you trust, getting outside even briefly. These actions don't need to be big, but they do need to be intentional.
Where it often falls away: In busy roles, especially in care-based work, it's easy to prioritise everyone else. Skipping breaks. Pushing through fatigue. Ignoring early signs of stress. Over time, this adds up. Looking after your mental health isn't optional — it's what allows you to keep showing up safely and sustainably.
A simple reset: Today, ask yourself:
→ Have I taken a proper break?
→ Have I stepped away when I needed to?
→ Have I checked in with how I'm actually feeling?
If the answer is no — there's still time to change that.

When something goes wrong, experience won't be enough.

For the first time in Australia, there's a new way to deliver adrenaline in an anaphylaxis emergency.
Neffy — a needle-free nasal spray — has been approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). It delivers adrenaline through the lining of the nose, with no injection required, making it simple to administer even for those without medical training.

Today is World Asthma Day 💨🌍 and with over 2.7 million Australians living with asthma, it is one of the most common chronic conditions in the country and one that can turn serious very quickly without the right response. 🫁
Here are some key facts to know 👇
🔵 Asthma causes the airways to narrow, swell and produce extra mucus, making it difficult to breathe.
🔵 Symptoms can include shortness of breath, chest tightness, wheezing and coughing.
🔵 Triggers vary from person to person and can include dust, pollen, exercise, cold air and stress.
🔵 A severe asthma attack can be life threatening and requires immediate action.
🔵 Every workplace and education setting should have an up to date asthma action plan in place.
Knowing what to do in an asthma emergency is not just helpful, it could be lifesaving. 💙
