The ‘new normal’ hybrid workplace has disrupted established assumptions about the nature of work and what motivates workers, and it has highlighted the challenge of finding the right leadership skills for the hybrid workplace – a balance between hierarchical and lateral authority.

NIODA’s ‘Optimising the new normal: Leadership Skills for the Hybrid Workplace’ immersive workshop series develops the capacity to manage the hybrid workplace boundaries around flexibility, authority and identity to support staff well-being and safety, as well as productivity.

Leadership Skills for the Hybrid Workplace: Optimising the new normal An immersive workshop series for people managers.

Traditional leadership training can only offer so much when you experience the real challenges of leading: organisational issues, pushback from colleagues, problems that just won’t shift no matter what you do, and difficult dynamics between staff. Most of the time you know what to do as a leader, but there are times when you feel ‘stuck’ and can’t work out why an issue seems to have emerged from nowhere.

Congratulations to our 2022 Master of Leadership and Management (Organisation Dynamics) graduates 🎉. Our graduates have gained lifelong friends and colleagues and now walk through life with a new set of systems psychodynamic 'goggles', enabling them to see and understand group dynamics in a way that few others can. They have gained a deep understanding of the interplay between individuals, groups, organisations, and society, and can apply this knowledge to create positive change in their communities and workplaces.

It is no easy feat to complete a master's degree, let alone while working and juggling family responsibilities. We are very proud of this cohort who managed all that while also facing the pandemic and all the disruption that accompanied it.

NIODA Writing Workshop, 4 - 6 May 2023 This writing workshop aims to help participants become authors of their written pieces; to discover the role of author; to allow their imagination to flourish. It also looks to the fundamentals of good writing and editing.

We are thrilled to introduce to you 'Through trauma, towards creative innovations', an online professional development workshop series with Jerry Fromm & Richard Morgan-Jones.

This workshop series is an opportunity to work with the wrenching, but also binding truth that trauma plays out over time, including between generations. Experiences that happen to a family, to a society, and to organisations intimately link these units with larger contexts of history and culture.

The experiential elements of the workshops will utilise the ‘Trilogy Matrix Event’, a method developed by Richard Morgan-Jones that offers a potential integration of perspectives from across individual, group and contextual dynamics.
