This year we are Hosting a Wear It Yellow casual clothes day with a gold coin donation from 27th May to 3rd June 2026 to raise funds for the children's ground organisation to support First Nations kids and families to access to education and wellbeing on their Country, but also an opportunity for our education organisation to practice truthtelling with our students and staff, and build their understanding of First Nations culture, strength and our shared histories.

We took a deep dive into advanced, strengths-based communication strategies, exploring new ways to support language development, recognize early milestones, and ensure every child is empowered to share their unique voice.

We learn about Goodstart Early Communication Assessment Tool and conduct a refresh learning again. Collaborating with allied health professionals allows us to continually elevate our practice and bring the absolute best quality care and education to your children every single day.

Sri Lankan Sinhala and Tamil people celebrate their New Year on April 14th at Goodstart Ferntree Gully. Today, we decided to mark the Sri Lankan New Year at the centre, as Goodstart Ferntree Gully always values diversity. This special festival signifies the Sun's transition from Pisces to Aries and the end of the harvest season. It is a family-oriented cultural celebration featuring specific auspicious times (Nekath) for rituals, traditional sweets, and community games. 🎆

Children at Goodstart Ferntree Gully were excited to welcome Mummy Rabbit and her babies to our Centre. 🐇🐰
