Friends of Myanmar; we pray for your safety, stay strong 🙏

Dear friends around the world,

My dear country in a deep poverty struggled hard during Covid period in 2020. We also have on-going civil war with Ethnic Armed Orgs fighting the Military for autonomy, freedom & equality. During this much helpless time, the Military in Myanmar took a advantage of the situation and staged a coup on 1st Feb, 2021. Over 2000+ people including Civilian Leaders were arrested, many got tortured / killed while in custody. As of 16th March, we have lost nearly 200+ lives on streets demonstrating against brutal Military's attempt to stage a coup.

"The Coup in Myanmar IS NOT YET COMPLETE"

People in Myanmar are resisting their attempt giving up lives, jobs, families joining the "Civil Disobedience Movement" because we clearly know how our days will be even darker under the military rule.

WE HAVE EXPERIENCED it and all of us , ethnic nationalities including Rohingyas were informing the World how brutal the Military is. Now, we are fighting against them with our bare hands but with a strongest defiance you may ever see.

As our dear friends of Myanmar, may I suggest its time to take actions for all us and some tips are -

1/ Please keep yourself and community informed about because if the Military in Myanmar succeeds the coup, they will inspire many more brutal dictatorships around the world.

2/ Please help pressure your own Govt/MPs to take actions against Myanmar Military eg. to impose targeted sanctions on Coup leaders & their businesses and global arms embargo in place because I don't think you want your tax money from your country turned as bullets in Myanmar.

3/ Please help organize events with Myanmar Communities in your areas (anything to keep the world informed is helpful - exhibitions/ strikes/ banging pots & pans every 8PM/posting social media images with three-finger salute/ honoring fallen heroes/boycotting military businesses...because "injustices anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere".

4/ Help finance Civil Disobedience Movement in Myanmar. We have plenty of fund raising sites running to help civil servants in protest. I suggest to check at -
