HEALING GENERATIONS GUIDED BY WURUNDJERI CULTURE - WE UNIQUELY INSPIRE AND EDUCATE - TO GROUND AND RECONNECT IN TODAY'S WORLD...
Djirri Djirri means W***y Wagtail in the Woiwurrung language, of the Wurundjeri people. Djirri Djirri is the only Wurundjeri women's dance group, we formed in 2013 on our homelands of Narrm (Melbourne) singing in our mother tongue Woiwurrung. We are all connected by blood to one matriarch, Borate (Berak's - William Barak's) sister. We are grandmothers, mothers, aunties, cousins, sisters and daughters all dancing as one.
