Marty started Jam Studio Music to share the love of playing music with anyone who wants to give it a go. Whether it’s for fun or to chase the rock star dream we encourage anyone of any age daring to give it a go. We’ve had hundreds of people walk through the door over the years and take their playing to a new level.

Some sad news today in music world with Mark Lanegan departing. I was lucky enough to see him play with QOTSA at the old Palace in St Kilda.

It’s looking likely that the concert we have booked on the 24th of October won’t be able to go ahead, which is a total downer but I reckon we can get a few soopastars like my student Drew here laying down some shaweeet tunes in the meantime.
This is Drew’s first time singing and playing and I reckon she knocks it outta the park💥

Sad drumming day for music today 😢🥁 Very disappointed I never got to see them considering I had tickets to two shows that both got cancelled. Thanks for sticking around for more than the week that you thought the band would last for Charlie. Great memories.
