Having fun learning music is the Jam Studio Music philosophy. Offering in studio guitar, ukulele, bass, singing, sax & drum lessons.

Located on the corner of Chapel and Carlisle Streets in St Kilda, Jam Studio Music has been running since 2012 and formerly known as Treble Makers Music. Marty started Jam Studio Music to share the love of playing music with anyone who wants to give it a go. Whether it’s for fun or to chase the rock star dream we encourage anyone of any age daring to give it a go. We’ve had hundreds of people walk through the door over the years and take their playing to a new level.

Heya Jammers!!

It’s been a minute since we posted as it’s been a great big start to the year🥳🤘🏽🎤🎸🥁🎹🎷
Great seeing people again, rocking out but sad to have said good bye to our awesome mainstay teacher Dani but she’s onto soopa other fantastic things. Follow her at Dansy as she’s doing some great pop tunes to get you dancing.

Some sad news today in music world with Mark Lanegan departing. I was lucky enough to see him play with QOTSA at the old Palace in St Kilda.

Heya Jammers!!

We're outta Locky Dee tonight which is awesome 🥳🥳🥳 although we're not back to face to face lessons just yet. We'll be back early Nov me thinks. Enjoy the weekend and we'll see you soon.

Also it'd be great if anyone was able to sign the Save Our Scene petition for live music venues around Melbourne. It's been a tough one for the arts industry.

Hey Jammers😎🤘🏽

Hope you’re all doing ok out there in the land of Locky D👍🏼

It’s looking likely that the concert we have booked on the 24th of October won’t be able to go ahead, which is a total downer but I reckon we can get a few soopastars like my student Drew here laying down some shaweeet tunes in the meantime.

This is Drew’s first time singing and playing and I reckon she knocks it outta the park💥

Enjoy legends and looking forward to seeing a few more in the weeks to come.

Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts dies aged 80 24/08/2021

Sad drumming day for music today 😢🥁 Very disappointed I never got to see them considering I had tickets to two shows that both got cancelled. Thanks for sticking around for more than the week that you thought the band would last for Charlie. Great memories.

Cheers Marty & the crew

Vale Dusty,

I dare say there’ll be some ZZ being taught tonight. Thanks for the tunes🎤🎸😎

"We are saddened by the news today that our Compadre, Dusty Hill, has passed away in his sleep at home in Houston, TX. We, along with legions of ZZ Top fans around the world, will miss your steadfast presence, your good nature and enduring commitment to providing that monumental bottom to the ‘Top'. We will forever be connected to that "Blues Shuffle in C.”

You will be missed greatly, amigo.
