We are a community theatre company set in Emerald, Victoria, with an emphasis on quality performance and a friendly atmosphere.
The name Gemco stands for the townships in the Ranges: Gembrook, Emerald, Monbulk, Macclesfield, Menzies Creek, and Cockatoo Community Theatre. The aims and objectives of Gemco Players are:
To encourage community involvement in the performing arts
To develop skills in all aspects of theatre
To provide live entertainment to the people of Emerald and the surrounding district

Big news for DROAPF 2026 — monologues are joining the festival! 🎭
We know there are incredible solo performers out there with stories just waiting for the right stage, so this year we're giving it to you. The new monologue section runs on Friday evening, with performances of 10–25 minutes. Entry fee is just $25.
The full festival runs 21–23 August 2026. Entries close 1 July 2026 — don't miss your chance to be part of it.
