VDC tự hào đã đóng góp vào hành trình này thông qua Dự án Aus4Skills trong lĩnh vực giáo dục nghề nghiệp, triển khai các khóa đào tạo ngắn hạn dành cho đội ngũ cán bộ và giảng viên tại Trường Cao Đẳng Cơ giới và Thủy lợi - VCMIgiới và Thủy lợi (VCMI), Trường Cao đẳng Công nghiệp Huế, và Trường Cao đẳng Viễn Đông.

Kể từ tháng 3 năm 2026, các trường này đã chính thức được công nhận là Trường Cao đẳng Chất lượng cao theo tiêu chuẩn quốc gia của Việt Nam.

Trong khuôn khổ hợp tác với ba cơ sở đào tạo, VDC đã hỗ trợ phát triển năng lực cho nhiều vị trí khác nhau, bao gồm Phó Hiệu trưởng, Trưởng khoa, Phó Trưởng khoa, giảng viên và cán bộ chuyên môn—thể hiện sự tham gia tích cực của cả đội ngũ lãnh đạo và giảng dạy.

Thành tựu này thể hiện cam kết mạnh mẽ của các trường đối với chất lượng, tính hòa nhập và cải tiến liên tục, đồng thời khẳng định tác động thiết thực của quan hệ đối tác Australia – Việt Nam trong phát triển kỹ năng.

VDC cũng rất vui mừng được đến thăm Trường Cao đẳng Viễn Đông tại Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh vào tháng 3 vừa qua, nhân dịp Hội thảo Học bổng Australia Awards Fellowship.

THREE VDC PARTNER COLLEGES RECOGNISED AS NATIONAL HIGH-QUALITY COLLEGES IN VIETNAM!

VDC is proud to have contributed to this journey through the Aus4Skills VET Program, delivering short courses for VET practitioners at the Vocational College of Machinery and Irrigation (VCMI), Hue Industrial College, and Vien D**g College.

From March 2026, these colleges are officially recognised as National High‑Quality Colleges (Colleges of Excellence) under Vietnam’s VET system.

Across the three institutions, VDC supported a broad range of roles - including Vice Principals, Deans, Heads, Vice Heads, Lecturers, and Officers - demonstrating strong engagement from both senior leaders and teaching staff.

This achievement reflects the colleges’ commitment to quality, inclusion, and continuous improvement—and highlights the tangible impact of the Australia–Vietnam partnership in skills development.

We were also delighted to visit Vien D**g College in Ho Chi Minh City in March during the Australia Awards Fellowship Symposium.

Trong chương trình Hội thảo tổng kết tại TP. Hồ Chí Minh, các Học viên đã tham gia các phiên chia sẻ kiến thức và những chuyến tham quan thực tế — từ việc tìm hiểu mô hình môi trường học tập hòa nhập tại DrD Vietnam (Đời Rất Đẹp), đến khám phá các mô hình đào tạo sáng tạo tại Trường Cao đẳng Viễn Đông, và học hỏi cùng các đồng nghiệp tại nhiều cơ sở giáo dục nghề nghiệp khác.

🎉 The VET Development Centre (VDC) is proud to celebrate the successful completion of the Australia Awards Fellowship: Embedding Social Inclusion in Vocational Colleges in Vietnam.

Across the Symposium in Ho Chi Minh City, Fellows participated in knowledge‑sharing sessions and site visits, from exploring inclusive learning environments at Doi Rat Dep‍‍, to discovering innovative training models at Vien D**g College, and engaging in peer learning across multiple VET institutions.

We were honoured to welcome Ms Estrellita Boskovic, First Secretary, Australian Embassy Vietnam, and Ms Le Thi Hang, Deputy Director of the Department of Vocational and Continuing Education and Training (DVCET), who joined us for the closing ceremony and presented certificates to Fellows.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the many leaders, educators, policymakers, and practitioners from the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, vocational colleges and training institutions, and social enterprises across Vietnam for their valuable contributions and continued partnership.

Today marked an inspiring start to the Australia Awards Fellowship – Embedding Social Inclusion in Vocational Colleges in Vietnam, delivered by the VET Development Centre (VDC). The opening day set the tone for meaningful dialogue, knowledge exchange, and shared commitment to strengthening the integration of Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) across Vietnam’s vocational and continuing education system.

The Australia Awards Fellowship Symposium in Ho Chi Minh City brought together an impressive group of leaders, educators, policymakers, and practitioners united by a shared goal: advancing inclusive and equitable vocational education in Vietnam.

We also had an opportunity to visit Doi Rat Dep (DrD Vietnam), where we discuss how the organisation enhances capacity, empowers people with disabilities, and builds an inclusive environment.

Tarmi teaches across the Diploma of Justice, Certificate IV and Diploma of Community Services, and the Course in Identifying and Responding to Family Violence, and brings 20 years of professional experience in adult community corrections, youth justice, and Aboriginal co-operatives. Her innovative teaching practices – from flipped classrooms to real case simulations – combine academic rigour with real-world application, helping students build confidence, job-readiness, and pathways into further education and justice careers.
