Women on Water – BIAV Networking Breakfast

What a fantastic morning celebrating women in Victoria’s marine and boating industry!

ACP CEO Sanushka Rajbhandary was proud to attend the BIAV Women in Industry Networking Breakfast, joining an inspiring room full of leaders, innovators, and changemakers who are shaping the future of our sector.

Hearing from incredible women like Michelle Reid (Dunbier Mackey Boat Trailers), Michelle Brittain (WIRFAB / AFN TV), Melissa Warren (ORCV), Laura Dew (Safe Transport Victoria), and Amber Perry (Better Boating Victoria) was both motivating and empowering.

We look forward to working closely with Dan Brown from Boating Careers to explore new ways of attracting more women into ACP’s Certificate IV in Boating Services and supporting their journey into marine trades and technical careers.

A big thank you to BIAV, WIRFAB, Better Boating Victoria, Victorian Fisheries Authority, and all who made this such an inspiring event for our industry. 💙

Great to see our Certificate IV Boating Services students, Jake and Parvez, gaining real exposure to the industry with their employer, Regal Marine

They’re hands-on with a wide range of skills — repair, restoration, detailing, technical, and fit-out work— learning directly in the workplace and building confidence every day.
