Community Kids Haven Child Care Centres, Early Years Learning Framework and quality play based program furnishes endless opportunities to learn and practice progressive exploration and thinking, life skills of interaction, sharing and resolution and scaffold to shape up an exquisite self image. Children are invigorated to learn independently, explore in their own-ways and make choices of objects and natural materials from their environment. We embrace the concept that young children are swift, imaginative, creative, enthusiastic and powerful learners and they own a natural faculty to control their own learning patterns. Our experienced, professional and rightly qualified educators facilitate, guide and extend these learning patterns in their everyday program, which plays a major role in children early years learning. 🐰🌈 Sunny the Bunny’s Kindness Adventure in Greensborough! 🌈🐰

Today, our Community Kids Haven Greensborough mascot, Sunny the Bunny, decided it was time for a little adventure! 🐰✨

Sunny hopped along to Greensborough Plaza and discovered something very special on Level 3 — the beautiful Kindness Colour Room! 🎨🌈

It’s a magical place where every colour can make you smile, and Sunny wanted to help spread even more happiness, creativity and kindness throughout our local Greensborough community. 💛

So, Sunny brought along some special Community Kids Haven Greensborough colouring pages and pencil packs to share with local children. 🖍️🎨

🌟 Celebrating 11 Years of Lauren at Community Kids Haven Greensborough! 🌟

Today is a very special day as we celebrate Lauren’s incredible 11 years of service at Community Kids Haven Greensborough! 🎉💛

Over the past 11 years, Lauren has taken on so many different roles and responsibilities, growing and developing alongside our early learning service and childcare community. From Room Assistant, Room Leader, Educational Leader, Fill-In Cook, and now Assistant Manager in Training — Lauren has always shown dedication, commitment and a genuine passion for the children, families and our team. 🌱📚✨

Her journey is a wonderful reflection of the passion and professional growth that sits at the heart of early childhood education. 🧡

We are so incredibly proud of Lauren and grateful for everything she has contributed to Community Kids Haven Greensborough over the years. Her willingness to step up, support others and take on new challenges is truly appreciated. 🤝🌟

Celebrating Educators Day at Community Kids Haven Greensborough! 💙
 
Today, we celebrated Educators Day by recognising that everyone belongs and embracing the beautiful diversity within our team.
 
Our educators came dressed in clothing representing their home cultures, shared delicious food from different backgrounds, and enjoyed the opportunity to share their languages, traditions and stories with one another.
 
It was a wonderful reminder that our differences are something to celebrate and that every culture, language and family brings something special to our community.
 
At Community Kids Haven Greensborough, we are proud to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued, respected and that they belong.

Books popped up in the most unexpected places this Book Week. 👀📖

Community Kids Haven Greensborough took reading beyond the centre and into the local community with a little book hunt around Ryans Reserve and Rotary Centennial Park.

Books were tucked into unexpected spots near favourite play areas, waiting for local little readers to discover them. And judging by the smiles, at least one story found exactly the right home. 💛

Our Kinder children also created their own bookmarks to donate to Diamond Valley Library, adding another small way to share the joy of reading beyond our early learning centre.

A Big Thank You from Community Kids Haven Greensborough!

Community Kids Haven Greensborough would like to say a HUGE thank you to all our wonderful families, children and educators for helping make yesterday’s Daffodil Day so special!

We are incredibly proud to share that, together as a community, we raised over $400 for this very important cause.

Daffodil Day helps support cancer research, prevention and support services for people and families affected by cancer. Every donation, big or small, helps make a difference.

It was beautiful to see our Community Kids Haven Greensborough families, children and educators come together, show their support and spread kindness and hope throughout our community.

Thank you for your generosity, participation and for helping us make a difference. We are so proud of our Community Kids Haven Greensborough family! 🌼

This week the children in the Toddler room explored learning about colours.
The children engaged in a colourful activity where they were encouraged to sort different colours objects and match them to a range of different coloured paper.
The children further developed their problem solving skills through recognising colours that matched and used their verbal skills to identify the colours they were exploring.
