Growing up on a dairy farm in Nar Nar Goon with eight siblings, I never knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. How I envied my friends who had a clear vision for their adult future!
I knew that farming wasn't for me. The thought of leaving school at 15 to pursue a trade (the family and community expectations) filled me with dread. Korrine Jones Goes The Extra Mile For Mitochondrial Disease Research
Korrine Jones, Regional Leader QLD, accomplished an impressive feat this week by completing a 35-kilometre walk. Her purpose was to raise funds for research aimed at finding a cure for Mitochondrial Disease. Well done, Korrine!
