Exploring Science Through STEM

Science learning through simple, interactive platforms provides children with opportunities to manipulate, experiment, and discover through trial and error. These hands-on experiences allow children to explore cause and effect, test their ideas, problem-solve, and develop a deeper understanding of how things work.

Our service children have been working with Teachers to create sustainability solutions in our service tasks as extending on the learning we organised a recycle ♻️ learning based incursion to promote and improve our practices.

Our three and four year kinder children enjoyed Recycle Eco bug program and the learning outcomes were extended based on the learning journey over two months. Through interactive discussions, they learned about different types of waste and how to correctly sort items into the appropriate recycling, general waste, and green waste bins.

Children enthusiastically took turns sorting materials into the correct bins, demonstrating their growing understanding of sustainable practices. They also worked collaboratively to create a recycling robot using recycled materials, sharing ideas, solving problems together, and expressing their creativity.
