To all the wonderful mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures in our community: we hope you had a beautiful day filled with love and relaxation!
It was such a joy to host our Mother’s Day Event and see so many of you here. We hope you felt truly pampered as our little ones took the lead in showing their appreciation.
There were so many heartwarming moments, including:
✨ Mini Manicures: Bright colors and very serious "technicians!"
🖐️ Hand Massages: A little moment of peace and connection.
📿 Bracelet Making: Creating handmade keepsakes to cherish forever.
Seeing the children care for their mums with such pride was the highlight of our day. We hope every mother felt as special and celebrated as they truly are!

Building confidence for the big leap! 🚀
Today’s visit to Malvern Valley Primary School is a core part of our School Readiness Program.
We are thrilled to have these monthly visits as a permanent fixture in our curriculum, helping our Kinder children build genuine confidence and familiarity with the school environment.
From card-making with student mentors to exploring the "big" playground and meeting the Principal, our children are learning that school is a place of fun and discovery! 🏫✨
A huge thank you to the Malvern Valley Primary community for being such welcoming partners in our children’s learning journey.

3… 2… 1… BLAST OFF! 🚀✨
To extend our learning program and children's interest in space, we recently welcomed the Museums Victoria Outreach Program to our centre for an incredible day of STEM discovery! 🌌
Our Kinder scientists dove deep into the wonders of space, learning all about the solar system and even launching their very own rockets. The exploration didn’t stop there—the children also got hands-on with "robotic cars," exploring the basics of coding, technology, and movement in a fun, interactive way. 🤖🏎️
By extending our program with world-class incursions like this, we provide our children with unique, hands-on experiences that bring their interests to life. A huge thank you to the Museums Victoria team for bringing the universe to us! 🌠

Empowering our children to find their voice! 🗣️💛
Today, our Kindergarteners participated in a protective strategies experience. We read story “My Body” to help children recognise that they have the right to set boundaries and that their private parts are private.
By equipping children with the correct language and a strong safety network, we are fostering a culture of security and self-respect.

We are so excited to welcome the Henny Penny Hatching program to our centre. Over the next two weeks, our children will have the front-row seat to the wonders of new life as they watch our eggs hatch and care for our new fluffy friends.
Programs like this are a hands-on way for our little learners to learn life cycles and practice gentleness, responsibility, and empathy.

Group time in the Toddler Room has been all about empowering children through safety and body awareness! 🐒 By exploring the story of the Five Little Monkeys, we identified how safe people like doctors and families look after us when we need it most. 🎨 The children loved drawing the safety net in their lives, building a strong sense of security and belonging. We also had a blast with Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes, helping our toddlers confidently name and identify their own bodies. 👣 It is so wonderful to see our little ones building the coordination and knowledge they need to feel safe, capable, and connected to their world! 🌟
