Connect was an Australian practice journal supporting student participation - in primary and secondary schools; in governance and curriculum.

Connect was a small Australian practice journal that was published bi-monthly from late 1979 until November 2021. It documented and shared stories about active student participation in decision-making - in both governance and classroom/curriculum areas - in primary and secondary schools.

The latest edition (Vol 3 No 3) of Australian practice journal ReConnectEd is now published!
This edition focuses on one of the most pressing questions for student empowerment: how can schools embed student voice, agency, and partnerships in ways that are sustainable, beyond the enthusiasm of individuals or shifting system priorities?
Inside, you’ll find case studies, opinion pieces, and practical examples from schools and educators exploring:
* How to embed student voice into school structures and classroom practice.
* Strategies for ensuring student agency and partnership initiatives are enduring.
* Reflections on leadership, planning, and professional learning that support lasting impact.
Explore the stories, strategies, and reflections that demonstrate how schools are planning for sustainable student voice, agency, and partnerships.
