Kids holiday dance classes was so much fun. Totally enjoyed teaching these bunch of munchkins
Being a third mom, fitness and self care was something that I really learned and yes learned it atleast now๐. Better late than never.
I know how hard it is being a mom and taking care of yourself is the last thing we would opt to do especially for people living abroad with no help. I can hear you and I can feel you mummas .
Sharing with you all few tips to just keep moving, something that I follow in my daily routine life - practical tips.
1. Stop having unrealistic expectations, start slow - consistency is the key.
2. Aim to just keep moving
3. Target to stay healthy, improve your immunity, not to fall sick , able to play with your kids etc and not for loosing weight . 10,000 steps atleast in the beginning
Exercises that you can do while cooking and other household work
1. Heel rises - best exercise for knees, back , lower legs etc. Remember to do it 20 times whwnever you are standing near the stove.
2. Swimming exercise( move your hands clockwose and anti clockwise as if swimming)- remember to do thia simple stretch while chopping your veggies. I get neck pain becayse of handling the baby and this really helped me
3. Go into a full squat( malasana) whenever you are putting clothes in the washing machine, playing with your kid etc( one of the best exercise during pre natal and post natal)
4. My favourite- play a song and dance ( dance is one of the best exercises for both physical and mental wellbeing)
PS: The exercises suggested are for healthy individuals, please talk to your GP if you have any health issues and do the appropriate exercises ๐
Letโs keep moving and aim to stay fit while taking care of these mini human beings๐. Will post more ๐ช๐.
