Celebrating Our Amazing Learning Support Officers!

This Learning Support Officer Week, we’re taking the opportunity to celebrate and thank the incredible LSOs who make such a difference every day at Holy Name!

Our Learning Support Officers are so much more than an extra pair of hands in the classroom. They build relationships, encourage confidence, support learning, celebrate achievements, provide reassurance and help every child feel valued, included and capable.

From helping students tackle a tricky task, to offering a listening ear, encouraging a moment of persistence or celebrating a breakthrough — our LSOs are there with patience, care and a genuine belief in every child. ❤

We are incredibly grateful for the knowledge, dedication, kindness and compassion they bring to our school community each and every day.

Holy Name Bingo Night 2026 was a great success!
It was so great to see so many of our community come together to share a night of fun, laughter, food and Bingo!
A night thanks to everyone who supported us, including those who couldn’t make it but still purchased a virtual seat!

STORY TIME!

Holy Name was a hive of excitement as we enjoyed our third Story Time session for the term!

Inspired by the classic story The Jolly Postman , the students, together with their parents and school leaders programmed tiny robots to move from one destination to another.

What a wonderful day of learning, connection and friendship!

100 DAYS BRIGHTER

Our Prep superstars have officially clocked up 100 days of school!

From learning letters to making lifelong friends, our littlest learners have grown SO much brighter every single day. We celebrated 100 days of giggles, growth, and greatness at Holy Name!

Celebrating First Eucharist at Holy Name

On Sunday 9 August, was a truly special and beautiful day at Holy Name as we celebrated the First Eucharist of 15 wonderful candidates. ✨

Our Mass was a beautiful celebration of faith, family and community, as our students took this very special next step in their journey of faith and received the Eucharist for the first time.

We are incredibly proud of each of our 15 candidates and the reverence, confidence and joy they brought to this special celebration. A heartfelt thank you to their families, teachers, parish community and everyone who supported and prepared them for this important milestone. Special thanks to Father John for his care and nurture of all the students.

May the Eucharist continue to be a source of strength, love and faith throughout their lives.

STORY TIME!

Holy Name was buzzing with excitement as we enjoyed our second Story Time session for the term!

Inspired by the much-loved story Grumpy Monkey, our little visitors got creative making their very own Grumpy and Happy Monkeys.

We finished the session with plenty of fun and laughter as the children headed outside to enjoy some playtime on our playground. What a wonderful morning of stories, creativity and making new friends!
