Today we completed the Discover Sailing Centre Review for Altona Yacht Club.

It was great to head down to the club while planning and preparation is underway for the upcoming season.

Altona Yacht Club are also finalists for Discover Sailing Centre and Club of the Year (Category B) for the 2026 Australian Sailing Victoria Awards.

It was great to bring our Peninsula sailing community together yesterday for a Sailing Network Meeting.

We had representatives from Point Leo Boat Club, Merricks Yacht Club, McCrae Yacht Club, Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron, Westernport Yacht Club, Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club, Rye Yacht Club, Davey’s Bay Yacht Club and Mornington Yacht Club.

A great afternoon of connecting, sharing experiences and ideas, and discussing how we can continue to support and strengthen sailing across the region.

A big thank you to Point Leo Boat Club for hosting and to everyone who joined us and contributed to the conversation!
