Billy Button Early Learning is a family-owned Childcare Centre located at 366 McDonalds Road, opposite Westfield and next to the new Pipe Track Park, in the heart of South Morang. Our Centre is named after the ‘Billy Button’, a bright, j

oyful yellow daisy that is indigenous to the local area. Our foundation is built on three main core values: Discovery, Connection and Respect. Through a highly qualified team of educators, our play-based curriculum nurtures children to form a strong sense of identity, that strengthens their social and emotional skills. What a week it has been! 💛

A huge shoutout to our incredible Billy Button team who went all out with their costumes, creativity and enthusiasm to bring Book Week to life!

There were plenty of laughs, a few very convincing character transformations, and SO much fun along the way!

At Billy Button, we believe the magic of books isn’t just about reading a story — it’s about becoming part of the story. 🌈

To our amazing educators… thank you for always being willing to dress up, get silly, create magic and make childhood memories that our children will carry with them. ❤️

📚🧡 OH, THE PLACES WE’LL GO FOR BOOK WEEK! 🧡📚

Today, Rachel and I traded our usual roles for something a little more… Lorax-like! 🌳✨

We’ve been called monkeys 🐒, minions 💛, orange people 🧡 and a few other very creative things throughout the day… but we’re taking it all as a compliment! 😂

Because Book Week is all about bringing stories to life, getting silly, sparking imaginations and, most importantly, having FUN!

Today we’ll be sharing the wonderful story of The Lorax by Dr. Seuss with our children — and what better way to introduce the story than by becoming the characters ourselves?!

At Billy Button, we believe learning should feel joyful, memorable and full of wonder. And sometimes that means our Centre Manager and Marketing Coordinator have to put on an orange suit and become the entertainment! 😂🧡

Curiosity was bubbling over as our little scientists explored a colourful Lava Lamp Colour Pouring experience for science week.

As vibrant colours swirled, mixed and moved, the children made predictions, asked questions and discovered the magic of cause and effect through hands-on play.

Experiences like these spark wonder, encourage critical thinking and remind us that some of the best learning happens when children are free to explore.
