Cool Creations Making Our Own Ice Cream!

At Aspire Berwick Waters, our Kinder children have been exploring the letter I through a fun and engaging learning experience Ice Cream!

This hands-on Kinder learning space invited children to connect letters and sounds with a real-life experience as they explored, created and enjoyed delicious ice cream together. Through this experience, children were encouraged to recognise the letter I, talk about words beginning with I, and make meaningful connections between literacy and everyday learning.

1,000 Books – What an Incredible Achievement! 📚

What a wonderful literacy milestone to celebrate! Reaching 1,000 books is an amazing achievement and reflects a beautiful journey filled with stories, imagination, curiosity and a growing love of reading. 💛

Every book shared provides opportunities for children to discover new words, explore different ideas, build their imagination and strengthen their confidence as communicators and learners.

Celebrations like this also highlight the important connection between families, early learning and our local community, working together to nurture a lifelong love of books and learning.

We are so proud to celebrate this special achievement and all the wonderful learning that has happened along the way.

This Friday, Aspire Berwick Waters is proud to support Bravehearts Day as we come together to raise awareness for child safety and support the important work Bravehearts does for children and families.

To help support this meaningful cause, we will be collecting gold coin donations at the centre. Families are also welcome to support our fundraiser by scanning the QR code and donating online.

Every contribution, big or small, helps make a difference. Together, we can stand up for child safety and help create a safer future for all children.

Our Father’s Day celebration last Friday was filled with so many beautiful moments that we couldn’t fit them all into one reel!

Last Friday, we had a wonderful time celebrating Father’s Day with our Aspire Berwick Waters community.

It was a special opportunity to recognise the amazing dads, grandfathers, stepdads, uncles, carers and special people who play such an important role in our children’s lives.

Our recent team-building time gave us the opportunity to step away from our everyday routines, share some laughs, strengthen our connections and simply enjoy being together as a team.

Little Choices, Big Impact Learning About Recycling

At Aspire Berwick Waters, sustainability begins with helping children understand that even the smallest choices can make a difference.

Through a meaningful group learning experience, our educator introduced children to recycling, sorting waste and caring for our environment using stories, visual resources and hands on learning.

As children explored the different bins and discussed where everyday items belong, they were encouraged to think about questions such as: What can we reuse? What can we recycle? And how can we reduce the amount of waste we create?
By embedding sustainability into everyday learning, we are supporting children to become thoughtful and active participants in caring for their world.
