Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten Berwick Waters

This is the excitement, creativity, energy and enthusiasm generated when we have quality incursions such James from ‘Little Woodworkers’ at Aspire Berwick Waters.
The children’s eagerness to get started, their joy in hammering, their excitement in being real ‘Tradies’ by wearing the safety gear, learning about the habitat of our native animals, and creating some amazing constructions demonstrated the joy this incursion.

What did your child share with you about this experience?

Hiru is the chef at Aspire Berwick Waters, and we appreciate everything she does to promote the health and wellbeing of the children at our Centre every day.
She is currently reviewing our menu and bringing it to meet the cooler Winter season, always with the nutrition of our children as a priority.
Please enjoy this clip where she talks about the ‘chocolate cake’ - aka Chocolate zucchini slice (with hidden apple puree) - that she has prepared for the children’s afternoon tea.
Oh … and don’t tell the older siblings who come looking for a piece of Hiru’s cake in the afternoon that it’s full of vegetables 🤣

Aspire Berwick Waters has all of our staff on board to explore World Oceans Day with the children which provides learning opportunities about marine ecosystems, the crucial role of the ocean as the lungs of our planet, sustainability, and caring for our environment.

Musical minds

Every week, Lachlan from Musical Minds comes in for our regular weekly incursion for all age groups in the Centre. The music is always ‘live’ with the ukulele being popular.

Dental visit

What an incredible opportunity to support our families, children and community by having a Dental visit to our service.
The dental hygienist also gave a presentation to our Kindergarten program children about why we need to look after our teeth, and how often we should brush.
