ANZAC day field of poppies 🌸
Idea for ANZAC day activity. Create a field with oil pastels and work over the top with water colour paint to create a resist effect. Allow to dry and work over the top by stamping red poppies with acrylic paint and a sponge. Add more details with acrylic paint to finish.
Negative space poppies 🌸
Combining watercolour techniques and drawing techniques. Start with a textured watercolour base. Using a pen, draw the outline of poppies and fill in the space around the flowers with black marker. Draw on details of the poppies and then create another layer over the poppies using white pen. Work with a single line drawing technique or trial other drawing processes to add detail.
