We're excited to share our new location - Donkey Wheel House.

Since becoming The Intersection Education Inc. in October, we've been focused on finding the perfect space for our office and workshop spaces. With our time at Gospel Hall Inc. coming to a close, we said goodbye to our classroom space on Little Bourke Street.

We're now thrilled to start our new chapter at Donkey Wheel House, 673 Bourke Street, just a short walk from Southern Cross Station. This beautifully restored heritage property, once the old tram depot, provides us with the ideal space to continue our work. We can't wait to welcome you to our new home featuring two workshop spaces, along with an office.

🏃What a start to 2026!

16 walks + 4 meaningful conversations = a year in motion.

The “Meet the Neighbour” sessions have been such a gift. Those thoughtful questions hit different:

“What first impressions do you think people have of you?”

“Are you at peace with your disability?”

Real curiosity. Real connections. 🤝

Earlier this month, we hosted our final session in 'the den', our beloved classroom space at 116 Little Bourke Street. The Meet the Neighbour session was a beautiful celebration of human connection, with students showing up with open hearts and minds. As we've now cleared out the space, we're taking a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we've been on over the past 16 years. We feel grateful to have had the opportunity to work with thousands of students, helping them see beyond single stories and connect with each other on a deeper level. As we close this chapter, we're excited to start a new one in 2026, with new venues already secured for our classroom sessions. Thank you to everyone who's ever been a part of our 'den' community.

We can't wait to see what the future holds!

A huge thank you to all the students who participated in our sessions and helped create unforgettable memories.

We may be a small team, but we're making a big impact. In 2025 with only four facilitators, we've delivered over 460 sessions to more than 10,000 students from 70+ schools!

As we look to 2026, we're grateful for the opportunity to work with so many incredible students and learn from them every day.

"Curiosity is embracing not knowing."
"You can still be empathetic with strangers."

We're constantly inspired by the conversations we get to have and feel lucky to be sharing stories about empathy, diversity, and connection. Here's to many more years of inspiring conversations!

See you in 2026!

Explore the vibrant streets of Melbourne’s CBD for a fresh perspective.

This WALK is deeply rooted in empathy, diversity, and connection as we delve into real-life experiences and tackle complex social issues such as homelessness, addiction, colonisation, and discrimination. We encourage students to “cross the intersection,” to humanise marginalised communities, listen to their stories, and imagine new stories that create social change.

👂Challenge stereotypes and explore the danger in only hearing a single story.
⚖️Harness the power of storytelling, delving into themes of wealth, power and poverty, scrutinising the impact of hierarchical and systemic inequalities.
