🔬✨ Science Week at Our Centre! 🌈🧪
What an exciting week of discovery, curiosity and learning! During Science Week, our babies, toddlers and kindergarten children participated in a variety of hands-on experiences designed to scaffold their cognitive skills, curiosity, problem-solving abilities and understanding of cause and effect. 🧠💡
From our little scientists exploring Monster Blast Out by mixing baking soda and vinegar inside a zip-lock bag 🧪💥, to creating beautiful colourful flower experiments 🌸🌈 and discovering the exciting reactions of a volcano 🌋 — every experience encouraged children to wonder, predict, explore and investigate.
And what better way to finish our Science Week than with Mr Hubble’s Bubble Show! 🫧✨ The children were amazed as they watched tiny bubbles, enormous bubbles and everything in between come to life! Their excitement, questions and sense of wonder made the experience truly magical. 🤩
Through play-based science experiences, children are developing important skills such as observation, experimentation, critical thinking, communication, prediction and problem-solving — all while having fun and discovering how the world around them works. 🌍🔍
