2026 ENROLMENTS will be available this Wednesday morning. Looking forward to seeing you all in the new year. I’ve had a very creative break working on my own practice and experimenting with various media and techniques to teach you all. Purchased some new objects for the studio for still life and the garden is looking fabulous 🌺. Below are a couple of oil paintings I made during my break.. 🫶🏻🎨😄

What a fantastic way to finish the term! Amazing work was produced by all students at the studio this year. I will be taking a small break for term 4 and will be back in full swing first term next year. It’s been a joy teaching you all and look forward to seeing you in 2026. Stay golden .. Effie 🌺☺️🎨

Term 3 has now commenced! Welcome to our new and ongoing students. Here is a painting finished by Maggie from our Oil painting class.. I love this ! It started with a paper collage to an oil painting. Well done👏

Today’s session. We looked at negative space, working from front to back. Great exercise learning to create depth using watercolour. Some areas of these images have been glazed. Demonstration by Effie for students aged 10-12.
