Pre-Kinder children enjoyed a letter search and matching activity ✉️✨ They explored which words begin with different letters, shared their findings with peers and educators, and built on each other’s ideas.💡

Science Week fun in Kinder! 🌧️ The children created their own rain clouds in a jar while exploring weather and learning how clouds form. A hands-on way to connect science week with their curiosity 🧠 🤔 ☁️

Last week at Birches we celebrated Jeans for Genes Day to raise awareness for the Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI) to support research into genetic diseases in children.

Our Kinders had a special incursion from a First Nations didgeridoo performer. The children were engaged with live music and shown some animal dance moves creating their own musical performance.

Our recent excursion through the community took us on a scavenger hunt which focused on the importance of road safety. ☀️ 🧢

We recently had our 6th birthday! 🎁 🥳 a little disco party to celebrate the occasion. 🕺 💃

Our Toddlers began NAIDOC Week with a natural resource counting experience, incorporating dyed pasta in the colours of the Aboriginal flag. This activity sparked conversations about Aboriginal culture and identity and demonstrating our commitment to fostering respect and awareness of the First Nations peoples.
