This week, our children have been exploring the joy and traditions of Lunar New Year! Through music, art, stories, and sensory play, we’ve been learning about themes of family, new beginnings, and good fortune.

The children created beautiful lanterns, watched Yunan perform a Chinese fan dance, made dumplings and shared conversations about how different cultures celebrate special occasions.

We love creating opportunities that build cultural awareness, respect, and a sense of belonging for all children and families in our community. 🧧❤️

From January 2026, all Australian families eligible for CCS will be guaranteed at least 3 days a week (72 hours per fortnight) of subsidised early childhood education and care.

This landmark change — the 3 Day Guarantee — replaces the Child Care Subsidy Activity Test and means:
✅ Eligible families can save thousands each year
✅ Every child can access vital early learning opportunities
✅ Certainty for families who are working, studying, or looking for work
✅ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families receive 100 hours per fortnight (up to 5 days a week)
