📑 Invitation for your Participation in a Research Study: Factors impacting surgical subspecialty preference 🪡
🔗https://redcap.sydney.edu.au/surveys/?s=4PL43NRRMNHPYYXK
🧐 What is this study about?
We are conducting a research study about surgical training in Australia. This study will assess factors influencing surgical speciality selection, which may include post-graduate year (PGY), age, gender, background, family situation, and rurality of origin/training. Participation is optional. The study is being carried out by Dr Anthony Glover (Director for the Master Surgery Program), including Dr Mona Jiang, who is doing this for their degree at The University of Sydney.
🙋Who can take part in the study?
We are seeking junior doctors (doctors that have not completed their specialty training) practicing in Australia, and medical students attending an Australian medical school.
✍️What will the study involve for me?
If you decide to take part in this study, you will be asked to complete an anonymous online survey. The estimated time commitment is 10 to 20 minutes.
📧Any further questions?
Please email Dr Mona Jiang and A/Prof Anthony Glover - [email protected]
