I had my last session at in Footscray yesterday creating hot glue and flow acrylic paintings. I have been working there for 8 years and have met some amazing woman. I’m very excited to be starting a new art program next week at Sunrise through which is a social and wellbeing program for women, trans and gender diverse people with disabilities, chronic health conditions and mental health conditions.

It’s been awhile since I have run a Jesmonite class, always such a beautiful result. These lovelies were made by my woman in transitional housing group at in Footscray yesterday. I have been working there since 2018 running classes for current and past residents that have experienced homelessness mainly due to domestic violence, which is winding up at the end of this term due to funding cuts. Fortunately I have another gig lined up with a similar not for profit organisation but will be sad to say goodbye.

My Emerging Artists in grades 5,6 & year 7 created these fabulous oil paintings. First time for all of them using oil paint, it was a seriously messy few weeks but worth it.
Shibori indigo scarfs by my home schooled group have left the building.
