📅💙 King's Birthday Weekend Update 💙📅

A reminder that all Monday 8 June sessions across AA4A will be cancelled due to the King's Birthday public holiday. We hope everyone enjoys a lovely long weekend with family and friends. 🌊

Families attending on Saturday 6 June have been contacted. If you haven't already responded, please let us know YES or NO via our phone number as soon as possible. Public holiday rates will apply to all planned sessions going ahead that weekend.

We’re also excited to share that DOOT Crew OT Belle will return to sessions from Monday 15 June. 💙

This little break will help everyone recharge and reset before we head into the final few weeks of Term 2, finishing on 27 June.

Sam and the team are currently finalising events, supports and activities for the upcoming holidays and time is running out to submit your Expression of Interest.

All confirmation emails will be going out very shortly, and availability will be limited across many activities and supports.

May WaterLovers Awards 💦 This month’s Awards celebrate such a wonderful mix of growth, confidence and determination across all levels of our programs.

From building concentration and confidence in the water, to improving kicking strength, back floating, submerging, communication and water safety awareness — every achievement represents important steps forward. We’ve also loved seeing participants strengthen their social connections, focus on tasks, make new friends and challenge themselves in new ways both in and out of the pool.

Our team continues to be so proud of the persistence, bravery and effort shown each session. Whether the progress feels big or small, every step matters — and May has been full of fantastic moments worth celebrating 🌊✨

🌊🦈 Meet Wyatt! 🦈🌊 Wyatt’s love of sea creatures shines through in every session — especially when sharks are involved! The mighty Megalodon is his favourite, and just like his ocean heroes, Wyatt is growing more confident and capable in the water every week. 💦

He has mastered his push and glide with a kickboard and now happily wears goggles while submerging to retrieve sinkies. Wyatt also loves playing “Jelly on a Plate” on the mat and can confidently swim back to the mat after falling off.

At the moment, we’re continuing to build his water safety skills, strengthen his kicking power and work towards refining his torpedoes.

We’re so proud of the determination and confidence Wyatt brings to every session — keep swimming strong, Wyatt! 💙

🎉💙 Happy Birthday, Maryn! 💙🎉 Today we’re celebrating our wonderful Maryn!

With her witty sense of humour, calm and flexible approach, Maryn has helped so many of her WaterLovers achieve incredible things in the pool. From those early gentle steps and getting comfortable with water on the face, right through to swimming laps in the big pool — she brings patience, creativity and encouragement to every session. 💦

Using all her tools, tips and tricks, you might even spot Maryn diving down with the mermaids for underwater adventures along the way 🧜‍♀️✨

Always ready to help families, friends and our team, Maryn brings so much warmth and support to the AA4A community.

We hope you have a sensational birthday, a fantastic year ahead on and off the golf course ⛳ and a day filled with lots of fun and celebration. 💙

From the water, to the gym, to holiday adventures and camps — Vicky somehow manages to do it all with care, calmness and a great sense of humour along the way. 💦

With skills in education support and an incredible ability to support people of all needs and abilities, Vicky is also the superstar behind many of our enrolments, schedules and day-to-day organisation. A true wizard with spreadsheets and planning 📊✨

We’re so grateful for the time, energy and knowledge you bring to our team and community.

This year marks our 4th year supporting students in developing water awareness, safety and swimming skills.

From beginner basics like bubbles and learning to use equipment, through to swimming laps and practising rescues — the progress has been incredible to watch. 💦

Most of all, we’re proud of every student for showing up, trying new activities and continuing to grow into capable, confident and safe WaterLovers.

💙🌊 Welcome to the team! 🌊💙 We’re so excited to welcome two wonderful team members across our water programs — Kai and Koal 👋

Kai is joining AquaAccess4All across four days (plus a few extras), bringing great energy and enthusiasm to every session.

Koal, who joined us earlier this year, has already become such a valued part of the team - especially with our school groups - helping build routines and creating a calm, supportive environment.

At AA4A, every session is tailored to the individual, and our team brings not only strong water knowledge, but the ability to adapt, connect and support each person in the moment.

You’ll see the care, passion and dedication Kai and Koal bring poolside. We feel very lucky to have them on board 💙
