Art and craft in our Nursery room! Even our littlest hands love getting creative! ☀️

🐞🕷️ Bugs, Bugs, Glorious Bugs! 🪱🐜

Our toddler children have been fascinated by all things creepy crawly! To extend on this interest, we set up a gooey messy play experience filled with spiders, worms and all things creepy.

The children loved exploring the different textures, using their imaginations and engaging in sensory play as they discovered and investigated the bugs hidden throughout the messy play.

It was a blast! ✨

What does a skeleton look like? 🦴

Our Kinder children have been using the light box to explore what skeletons look like and learn about the bones inside our bodies.

Using the light box encouraged curiosity, observation skills and conversations about the human body, not to mention it’s fun!

On Wednesday 27 May 2026 at 12.00 pm, millions of children, parents, teachers, and library lovers across Australia and beyond will came together to read Luna Roo at the same time — celebrating the joy of reading, storytelling and connection

The children at Lyrebird ELC were so excited to head over to our library to be apart of this!

If you haven’t read ‘Luna Roo’ add it to your ‘to read list’ it was chosen because it captures the spirit of rising to a challenge with heart and grit, a powerful celebration of courage, self-belief, and pushing through when things get tough!

Mondays done right with our weekly visit from Hey Dee Ho 🎶🎼

Our music sessions are always filled with joy, laughter and learning as we explore Auslan, instruments, singing and dancing together. The children love expressing themselves through music and movement while building confidence, communication and connection with their peers. 💛

This week we are celebrating and raising funds for Australia’s biggest morning tea!

Our kinder children have prepared an afternoon spread and each afternoon will be holding a stall to raise funds for the cancer council!
