Throwback Thursday to when I was singing in a 1950s barbershop acapella quartet with these lovely ladies so many moons ago. 🎙️
We sang at many fun places like The Melba Spiegeltent, The Royal Croquet Club, ABC radio, and many other corporate events.

I handed the music to the accompanist on the spot and had no rehearsal or time to practice except in the car on the way from another rehearsal the same day.
Loved the vintage mic !
Loved the vibe, enthusiasm of the audience and support from people I just met.
And loved belting this one out...even if it wasn't perfect.

Such a pleasure and a blessing to be able to sing Beethoven's 9th Symphony in this choir and be supported by the incredible orchestra Corpus Medicorum and amazing soloists Lee Abrahmsen Peter Tregear Robert Macfarlane and Shakira Dubhagán last night at St Paul's Cathedral, Melbourne

We had so much fun singing music theatre and 90's hits this month!
Can't believe I couldn't even sing a note the week prior to this recording! So thankful I have my voice back and can enjoy singing again after a brief summer cold.
