As part of our commitment to extend our high achieving students, selected St Luke’s students will be challenging themselves to sit the ICAS Reading and Mathematics tests in Years 2-6. We are thrilled to be partnering with ICAS to provide quality assessments and tailored opportunities for our gifted and highly accomplished students to advance their strengths, explore their interests, and reach their full potential in a supportive and challenging environment. Our Golden Wings extension program symbolises excellence here in our hive and we are so proud to support our students!

We’ve been reading Jack and the Beanstalk, but we couldn’t just leave the magic on the page... so we’re growing our very own beanstalks!
Nothing beats watching stories come to life with a little soil, water, and lots of excitement. Our Preps are having absolute blast tracking their plants and checking every morning to see if they’ve reached the clouds yet!

What a massive day at Meadowglen for the St Luke’s Athletics Day! Even though the weather tried to crash the party with a bit of rain, the vibes were absolutely unmatched.
The participation from every single year level was amazing. You all showed up, got involved, and cheered your hearts out in the stands. A special shout out to our Preps for their first ever Athletics Carnival.
The absolute highlight? An epic Teachers vs. Students race! Bragging rights were definitely on the line, and Lucas from Year 6 almost smoked Mr C right on the line!
But at the end of the day, only one house could take the crown. A massive shoutout to Caritas for taking home the win with not only outstanding athleticism, but fabulous chants and great participation and attendance. Go St Luke’s!!! 🏆

As our first Australian saint, Mary MacKillop embodies a spirit of courage, compassion, and a tireless commitment to education, particularly for those on the margins. Her vision, from a small schoolhouse in Penola to founding the Sisters of St Joseph, continues to inspire our school community every day and aligns with our Scalabrini charism to love and serve migrants and the marginalised.
We strive to live out her legacy of service, kindness, and faith “under the Southern Cross.”
