Kathryn Green Coaching

Kathryn Green Coaching I help teens who are struggling, to build the emotional resilience, confidence and life skills they need whilst supporting parents to make change at home.

Kathryn Green is passionate about empowering women to step into the best version of themselves so that they can live a life of passion, purpose and fulfilment. Mother of two, Kathryn is a Cert 2 ICF coach, NLP & Conscious Hypnosis practitioner. She provides a comfortable, safe, and confidential environment for deep discussion that helps women identify their unconscious patterns and self- limiting

beliefs. Kathryn does a lot of work with the unconscious/ subconscious mind, supporting people to find and understand the lessons in their past experiences, allowing them to be free of the negative emotions that are holding them back from achieving their goals.

I’m guilty of this. Are you? 🙋‍♀️

When we’re stressed, under pressure or tired, it can feel like nagging, reminding, comparing or simply telling our teens what to do is the easiest way to get things done.

But that’s exactly the problem — we’re managing them.

And ultimately, we don’t want our teens to need us to manage them. We want them to learn how to manage themselves.

We want them to think for themselves, take responsibility, make decisions and develop their own internal motivation.

So next time you hear yourself nagging, comparing or telling your teen what to do, take a breath and ask yourself:
“How can I help them motivate themselves?”

Because the goal isn’t just to get them to do the thing today.
It’s to help them become someone who can get themselves to do it tomorrow. 💜

The Over-Functioning Teen

Some teenagers become the one everyone relies on.

Burnout isn’t always caused by doing too much.
Sometimes it’s caused by believing you have to carry too much.

❤️ Save this post if it reminds you of someone.

Talk about a nervous system reset!

Even as the facilitator and speaker, I left the room yesterday feeling calmer and more grounded than when I walked in.

These events are designed to help women fill their cup and bring attention to every aspect of their wellbeing. We explored mindfulness, mindset, kinesiology, gut health, the importance of protein, and reconnecting with ourselves.

This month, Vanessa Tieppo | PKP Kinesiologist shared practical insights into how we can use kinesiology techniques to support and regulate our own nervous system.

T E S S W I L L I A M S O N then guided us through a powerful visualisation to help us let go of whatever feels heavy or stressful in our lives.

I’m so grateful to have shared this space with such a beautiful group of women. Thank you to everyone who joined us. I can’t wait to do it all again. 🤍

One small suggestion: if this is a Reel, consider putting your strongest line on the opening frame as text: “Talk about a nervous system reset…” It’s a great hook and will encourage people to keep watching.

One thing I’ve noticed from working with teenagers is that burnout often shows up in the kids their parents are least expecting.

The teenagers who care deeply.

The kind ones.

The high achievers.

The teenagers who quietly place enormous pressure on themselves.

The ones who never want to let anyone down.

The ones who keep pushing because they believe that’s what successful people do.

Burnout rarely happens overnight.

It often develops gradually, as our teens continue to ignore their own needs while trying to meet everyone else’s expectations.

💛 Sometimes what looks like resilience is actually a teenager running on empty.

14/07/2026

We often label our reactions as the problem.

The panic attack.
The tears.
The anger.
The shutdown.

But what if they’re actually your mind’s best attempt at solving a problem?

Our unconscious mind is incredibly intelligent. It learns patterns that once helped us survive or cope... even if they’re no longer serving us.

The goal isn’t to fight those patterns.
It’s to understand what they’re trying to achieve, appreciate the intention behind them, and then create a healthier strategy that meets the same need.

That’s where real change happens.

Can I ask you something…

When was the last time you took two hours just for you?

Not for work.
Not for your family.
Not to tick another thing off your to-do list.

Just for you.

If you’ve been feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, constantly “on,” or like you’re running on empty, this She Rises event is exactly why we created these afternoons.

Join T E S S W I L L I A M S O N and me for two hours dedicated to your wellbeing.

✨ Hear from our incredible guest speaker, who’ll teach you kinesiology techniques to help regulate your nervous system and bring your body back to calm.

Leave feeling lighter, calmer and with practical tools you can actually use in everyday life.

Bring your mum, your sister, your best friend… or come on your own. You’ll be warmly welcomed. 💛

There are only a handful of tickets left and we’d love to see you there.

Why I Coach Teenagers

I often get asked why I chose to specialise in coaching teenagers…

I meet adults every week who are trying to unlearn beliefs that first developed when they were young.

Beliefs like...
“I’m only worthy if I achieve.”
“I have to make everyone else happy.”
“Rest equals lazy.”
“I have to work harder to keep up.”
“Everyone else has it all together except me.”

As adults, we spend years trying to rewrite those stories.
One day, I found myself asking...
When do these beliefs become ingrained?
And more importantly... when is our greatest opportunity to change them?
I realised the answer was adolescence.

Yes, adolescence is a challenging stage of life… but it’s also one of the greatest opportunities we’ll ever have to shape the relationship a young person has with themselves.

What if a 13-year-old learnt that their worth isn’t determined by their grades?

What if they learnt to recognise burnout before it completely consumed them?

What if they learnt that asking for help is a strength, not a weakness?

What if they became their own biggest supporter instead of their harshest critic?

That’s why I do what I do.

I don’t just help teenagers through today’s challenges.
I help them develop the mindset, habits and self-belief that will serve them for the rest of their lives.

Because one day they’ll become adults.
They’ll enter relationships.
Raise children.
Build careers.
Face setbacks.
Navigate loss.
Celebrate success.
And the relationship they have with themselves will influence every one of those moments.

If I can help them build a healthier relationship with themselves now...
That’s a gift they’ll carry for the rest of their lives.

💚 That’s why I coach teenagers.
