Don’t forget our next community hike is the 16.7km Gunnamatta to Cape Schanck Lighthouse return walk on the Mornington Peninsula this Sunday. Community Hikes are a great chance to explore beautiful hiking trails, socialise with your training buddies or reconnect with trekking friends.

Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 4 hours to complete. The track is a combination of tea-tree trails and sand trails closer to Gunnamatta.

Following the hike, join us for an optional lunch at the St. Andrews Brewery 1pm.

Family and friends are more than welcome to join you for the hike. Send us a DM and we will send you the RSVP link.

When: Sunday October 6th, 8am arrival for 8:15am-12:30pm hike
Where: Gunnamatta surf lifesaving club, Truemens Rd Fingal
RSVP: send us a DM and we will send you the RSVP link
Cost: free of charge

One week ago this group of legends climbed the famous last hill up to Owers Corner and walked through the famous Kokoda Trail arches ⛰️

It wasn’t without a challenging physical effort and mental strength required from all the group though. They completed the track in only 6 days, compared to the regular 8, and endured 5 days of wet conditions.

That didn’t stop the spirit of our group though. Lots of smiles, lots of laughs and a massive personal spiritual reward for all of them πŸ€œπŸΌπŸ€›πŸΌ
