Happy New Year from the TCA instructor Team! As we turn the calendars from 2022 to 2023, we wish you and your family, friends and neighbours good health and prosperity.
Australia is the most successful multicultural society in the world. Almost half of the current population was either born overseas or has at least one parent born overseas. We come from every culture, every race, every faith, every nation but we are defined not by race, religion or culture. Instead, we pick up the best from each culture for our own good, like Tai Chi and Health Qigong, which has proven to be beneficial to both our mental and physical health. This is an excellent example of a harmonious nation embracing its diversity.
To celebrate the cultural diversity, TCA will participate in the following events and we would like to invite you to join us:
Tyakuwala Cultural Festival in Deniliquin, NSW
Tyakuwala - To feast, to celebrate (Wamba Wamba). This festival is being held within the homelands of the Wamba Wamba/Perrepa Perrepa Peoples and recognises the unique and diverse cultures within the Edward River Council community in and around the Kolety (Edward River). It was held in the Waring gardens on 14th and 15th of January 2023. (a link to the 4 photos attached)

Booking is compulsory as TCA is required to comply with COVID-19 Rules as applied under the Industry Restart Guidelines for Physical Recreation Indoor and Outdoor. In order to comply with these Rules, we need to gain an idea of numbers of likely students for each class so we can structure our classes safely with respect to density levels and all other matters.
This does not apply to Fed Square, Prahran and South Yarra which operate under their own systems.
All class locations are listed on the TCA website.
Please provide your details and intended class location by filling out the form on the Beginner Classes page.
Please return this information a week before the scheduled class to secure your place. If you respond after that date, we will email you to advise whether a space is available.
