Our school community came together in outstanding spirit for this year’s Big Freeze – Fight MND fundraising event. Braving the Melbourne cold, students, Student Leaders and staff rallied behind a meaningful cause, creating an event filled with generosity, courage and plenty of laughter.

Staff members bravely faced the dunk tank, while students enthusiastically took on the ice bucket challenge. A standout moment was the crowd’s excitement as students had the opportunity to tip ice over our Assistant Principal, Mr Siliver, all in support of this great cause.

We are deeply grateful for the participation, goodwill and community spirit shown throughout the event.

The Big Freeze Raffle at Alphington Grammar

We are delighted to announce that our next Alumni Reunion will be held on Saturday 21 November 2026 at 2.00pm.

Today we pause to honour the courage, sacrifice and service of all Australians and New Zealanders who have served our nations. ANZAC Day reminds us of the strength of community, the importance of remembrance, and the legacy of those who gave so much.

They shall grow not old,
as we that are left grow old,
Ages shall not weary them,
nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun,
and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Lest we forget.
